At main screen of Meet Manager for Swimming click on Events, then Standards
Next click on Add New Time Std Tag icon and Add tag for Entry Qualifying Standard
Check box in Entry Qual column to designate standard as an Entry Qualifying standard
Select whether qualifying standard is Equal to or faster or Slower than
When 2 standards have Entry Qual box checked, Entry Qualifying Times are seen by Meet Manager as range between faster standard and slower standard
Custom Qual Times option is used when some events have a faster than Qual time while others have a slower than, or when Qualifying time is a range between two standards - but standards used for that range vary from event to event
Custom Qual Times option allows you to specify for each event what option is being used for Qualifying Standard or range.
