Use this procedure to copy a single page from one location to another within the same site.

1.     Edit the page you wish to copy.

 

2.     In the Page Summary section, locate the Copy Page (Select parent) field and click on the <<Select Page>> link next to it.

 

3.     In the site page list that gets displayed, click on the new Parent page.

 

4.     Click OK. A message is displayed once the page has been copied. The new page will be Published if the copied page was published, otherwise it will have a status of Draft.

 

5.     Clear the System Cache - Go to System>Cache Clearance and select the Clear Cache button

 

 

Use this procedure to copy multiple pages with the same Parent page from one location to another within the same site.

 

1.     Edit the Parent page of the pages you wish to copy.  Open the Child Pages Tab

 

2.     In the Child Pages Tab, select the checkbox next to each page you wish to copy.  Select the Copy Page button and click on the <<Select Page>> link in the box that pops up.

 

3.     In the site page list that gets displayed, click on the new parent page.

 

4.     Click OK. A message is displayed once the page has been copied. The new page will be Published if the copied page was published, otherwise it will have a status of Draft.

 

5.     Clear the System Cache - Go to System>Cache Clearance and select the Clear Cache button

Note:  The new page has a Published or Draft status. It also retains all content, design and settings information as the original page. The pasted page does not retain child pages or history associated with the original page.
